My ge profile has been having intermittent cooling issues. Had it all apart and now the temp only starts climbing every once in awhile. Unplugged it and it seems to be doing just fine. Do these intermittent issues point more to the motherboard. Thanks,
Jon

Yes it could be a motherboard problem, since unplugging it would reset the board.

You have taken it apart and then reconnected everything and now it is OK could point towards a bad connection. With luck you may have repaired it.
