I would like to replace the water pump on this washer. The pump seems to be attached to the motor . I have found out that the motor has been discontinued. Can I just replace the pump on this washer. Or is there a way to remove the pump and replace it. .What are my options?

The pump is attached to the motor with 2 metal straps. Remove the straps, and the pump lifts off the motor.

You never said what is wrong, so I have no idea if it will work. What problem are you having?

If you remove the front tub bolt and then raise the front part of tub and jam a screwdriver in the hole where the bolt was so the bottom edge of outer tub rests on the screwdriver it will give you more clearence to get the pump in and out the bottom part of what you are calling the pump is the drip shield
