I replaced a broken door handle latch and got the seven blinking lights when I went to start the machine. Thanks to this forum I learned the code to reseet the machine. The washer started fine and ran through a very long cycle. I opened it after about 2 hours to see if the cycle was done. Steam came out, and it seemed to just be runnning long so I closed the door. The next morning water is pooled in the bottom of the machine and all systems are dead. I checked the circuit box and no problems there. I took the panel off and made sure all connections were solid. I tried the secret codes and got nothing.

So do I call for service, or start replacing parts? Any suggestions?

Thanks
Tim

Check the easy things first. Make sure there is power at the junction box of the dishwasher. Make sure your door switches are working properly.

Could a bad door switch cause the entire unit to be dead, with no lights on the panels? The switch came apart when I was replacing the handle, but it went right back together and makes the same clicking sound when activated.

Also, do I have to pull the unit out to get at the junction box or is it accesssable below the front panel?

Thanks

There's a microtemp clipped to the control board or thermal whatever ya want tot call it it will blow if it overheats as well sounds like the unit isn't getting water either
