I have a kenmore dryer that I have ordered a front door rubber switch from AppliancePartsPros.com that I need to replace. What is the procedure to replace the switch. Seems it can't be directly removed and replaced (wires are too short and would fall inside if I disconnect old switch). This implies I have to remove a cover and replace it.

What would the procedure be to do this replacement?

This isn't your exact model but it should help you get into your machine.

Unfortunately, this URL only pointed me to the main page. Did now know where to go from there... but thanks for the reply.

If you want to send me an email I can just send you the manual, it's too big to post.
