My ice maker is working fine but the dispenser is not working at all. When I try to dispense ice it makes a short grinding noise then nothing.
The crushed ice option quit working first and then about a week later crushed and cubed both were no longer working.
Thanks for any help!
Oh yes, and a few days before it stopped working I noticed small clear pieces of something in the ice that was dispensed.

Check to see if your auger is broken. Remove the ice bin and actuate the dispenser. Does the yoke turn?

You need to replace the auger in the ice bin.
