I have a problem with the oven control. The lock light for the door indicating that it is the self clean mode flashes off and on also the oven door locks randomly. All other oven controls won't work, the range top will function. The oven hasn't been in the self clean mode for about two weeks. We used the oven since and it worked fine. The oven being to hot is not an issue as it is at ambient temp. When the oven temp sensor is disconnected the oven door locks and won't unlock randomly as when it is connected. Did an ohm check on the oven temp. sensor and it shows continuity.
Any ideas Deano

It's located under the cooktop. open oven door, and look under the front lip of the cooktop, there are 2 screws. Take them out and lift up on the cooktop and you'll see it.

One of those switches on the assembly is most likely bad. The motor turns when you program to self clean and activates the switch to tell the board the door is locked. When clean is done the motor turns and hits the other switch to tell the board the door is unlocked.
