my washer works properly most of the time. then it wont fill tub, the water runs out the drain hose. the hose is 2'' above washer then drops down and out 2ft past washer into floor drain. if hose is lifted abve washer tub will fill and continue through cycles. timer was replaced, was told it was weak, still does same thing.

Normally a drain pipe comes up, 4 feet off the floor. So do what it takes to keep the hose up high enough to stop the syphoning. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

Tom ApplianceEducator.com the hose has always been at 4-2". what i am wondering is because the hose is all one piece from the washer to the floor drain is that why it's causing the washer to siphon. what if i was to mount a stack and use a regular style washer hose with a hook end.
