my washer goes thru the wash cycle but stops and does not drain or spin. i checked the timer with my amp clamp there is no current draw when the timer stops. lid switch ??

Possibly but I would lein more toward an obstruction in the pump.

Try by-passing the lid-switch to see if it will drain. If it does, you found the trouble!!!:)
