Hello all

My Jenn-air oven (W30400BC) broiler element operates sporadically. The electronic control panel seems to work (fan comes on, temperature display on) however the top element comes on about 1 or 2 times for every 10 tries. I suspect there is a relay interfacing between the control system and the power supply to the element that is sticking. Before I launch myself into the guts of the oven, does anyone have access to a wiring diagram? Failing that, some help identifying the correct relay (location, color, shape, or?) would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Your oven control needs to be replaced, unless you are an electronic technician and can diagnose the electronic conponents on the board. UserPostedImage

I appreciate the info Kayakcrzy. I was hoping the relays were free-standing units (easy to replace!). A little too simplistic as usual. At least I know what I'm dealing with now.

Thanks again
