I started getting F3 error code intermittently on our 8-year old Jenn-Air gas range; also once or twice I got an F1 error. Yesterday I replaced the oven temperature probe, which I thought would correct the F3 fault. Alas, today it is back with a vengence, even showing up occasionally with its buddy F1. Suggestions?

I've had this same issue. I'm not sure if I replace the touch pad or the control board?

Did you check the wire harness from the oven sensor (temperature probe) to the control board? Try to eliminate the oven sensor quick disconnect plug and hard wire the sensor using a high temperature porcelain wire nuts. If it would not help, replace the control board. - The high temperature porcelain wire nuts Part number: AP3440631

I've been getting an F1-7 error message. Have to turn off breaker to stop the beeping. After a rest, the stove is fine and I can heat the oven, but eventually it starts beeping again and shuts the oven off. Could this be the heat sensor only? Or likely to be other? How do I test the heat sensor? The control panel works great. Many thanks.

Thanks! Hi, The "F1-7" error code means the control senses the membrane switch disconnected. Such problem has nothing to do with the oven temperature sensor. Open the control panel. Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board. The edge connector can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline cracks using a magnifying glass. Clean the connector on the board with an electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates. Reconnect everything and give it a try. Post the results.
