I was using the self-cleaning for about an hour and 1/2. It was off for about 45 minutes, and I used a rag (not cold, room temp.) to clean some stuff on the interior glass of the oven door and suddenly watched it crack gradually:eek: The warranty of course ran out!:( My husband wants to order and replace the part himself. :D Is this safe? The companies want over $200, closer to 3 to replace it. They said it's very risky for others to replace it.

What do you suggest? :o
Thank you for taking my question.

The part number for the inner door is AP2126630 less than $62 and it's not risky, just have to be careful not to chip the glass when putting it in. This site doesn't have the picture breakdown but if needed I can post them for you.

Could you kindly let me know the number of the item I am replacing? On the diagram, it's a little hard to tell! I did not know there would be so many parts!
Thanks so much,
Liz

I know you left me an order number, but I mean a number on the diagram.
Thank you,
Liz
