The glass stove top shattered and I was wondering if I could replace it myself. It looks the glass only can be replaced (instead of the entire porcelain/glass stove top). There is a rubber gasket between the glass and the porcelain top. Is this something I can easily do myself? Would it require some type of glue? How difficult would it be to seal the gasket (and glue, if necessary)? (Note: the zero in my model number is correct according to the plate on the stove, however, I think the GE website drops the "zero" in the model number).
Thank you,
Debbie

Debbie, The "glass" top comes in the porcelain frame. What is the color of the "glass" which is actually a crystal material? Nat

The glass is black (I guess) with white or grey speckles all over the glass. Except the burner areas are solid black (no speckles) with white/grey circles outlining them (if I remember correctly - I'm not at home right now).

I did find the first part # also (elsewhere on the internet). I have some limitation on this computer (at work) so I'll try to check it out both part numbers on my computer when I get home.
Thanks for you help, Nat!

Okay - I looked up both part numbers at this website and no pictures load. Also, I'd like to find a diagram of the stove but nothing is coming up for my model #. Any idea where I can find that?
I noticed you attached the part numbers as links but when I click on them, I get the "IE cannot display this page" error message. Any idea how to get pictures of the stove top and a diagram of the stove?
In the mean time, tomorrow I will try to contact GE to get the correct replacement stove top part #.
Thanks, Nat.
