Dryer wasnt spinning so I replaced the belt and it didn't spin until I spun by hand and it took off. but thats the only way it would turn. now the motor stopped all together. Did I just kill the motor completely?

Yes, the reason that it would not start is, the START winding in the motor was bad or the motor switch is bad, Better off to replace the motor.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thank you. The dryer is old anyway. It's past its prime.
