Went through the internet trying to find out what is wrong. Thought it needed a thrust bearing kit-so ordered it from this site. Still not spinning. Original problem : Fills up with water then goes to the next cycle of spinning but no rotation. Then makes these loud sounds which sounds like its spining but not doing anything. the washer unloads the water but clothes have not moved from original spot. Clothes have been coming out wet Do I need a new transmission or a belt. Not to sure what to do. Is it worth repairing???? thanks for any help

Remove the belt and check the transmission drive pulley movement. Turning the pulley CW should oscillate the agitator and turning CCW will release the break for spinning action. If the pulley does not turn, the transmission has to be replaced.
