Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/21/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		Like some of the others, I'm not getting heat, or at least consistent heat. Took off the back of the dryer, shop vac'd the lint out, and ran the dryer with the back off (and the vent unhooked). Thing fired right up and was HOT in seconds inside. Thought I had fixed it, put it back together and the vent pipe back on, started it up and it was cold, cold, cold. Does that help narrow down what is wrong? I didn't see anyone with quite the same issue.

If it does, replace the coils on the gas valve. Also a model # would help us help you. But check the ignitor first. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
