I am having a hard time figuring out why this dryer isn't heating. Here is what I have done and found so far:
L1 = 110 L2 = 110 Across both = 220
Red wire (L1) at timer = 110 Yellow wire at timer = 110 when dryer is started Brown wires (2) at timer = 110
With the dryer running I get 110 at both thermostats, and at the three element connections. When I try to test the element connections across each other I don't get anything. I also don't get a reading at the door switch or the safety switch.
When I do a continuity test I get zero (or near zero) on both thermostats, the door switch and the safety switch. The elements give me a reading around 20. And the timer drive motor gives me a reading of 1996
I hope that makes sense. Any thoughts on what's wrong? I appreciate any help y'all could offer.

You should not be testing the thermostats or anything else with the dryer running. Disconnect it for all testing.
Wherever you have no continuity across a thermostat, there is your problem.
