Remove the control board cover (#843 on the break down diagram) and unplug the J7 wire harness connector from the control board.

Check for 120VAC between the pins J7-3 (yellow) and J7-9 (orange) while the waters dispenser calls for water and the freezer door is closed.

Post the results.

Disconnect the water supply tube from the union connector (#80 on the break down diagram) under the freezer door. To disconnect the tube, push in the white collar on the quick connector and pull the tube out.

Check if water will come out under pressure from the plastic tube while the dispenser calls for water.

If it will then the problem is a frozen water line inside the freezer door.

In order to fix this problem the freezer door has to be removed and taken apart.

How do I get my water dispenser to work correctly again? What part needs to be replaced? Why has it not cut off correctly when all I did was clean the mold from the mouth of the dispenser?

Hi Janice,

Can you be more specific on the problem? What is the complete model number of the refrigerator? Which tests did you perform?
