Would not resume working and none of the control panel buttons were illuminated. Could not cancel and restart. Breaker ok. What's wrong and how do I repair this?

Remove the bottom panel, open the junction box on the right side and check the power cord connection to the dishwasher. Open the control panel and check the thermal fuse (on the side of the control board box) for continuity. - The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3178588 Gene.
