My dishwasher stopped working mid-cycle. There is still water sitting in it but the control panel does not work, none of the lights work. I checked behind the kick-plate and opened the front panel but nothing looks fried. What should I try next?

Chk your bimetal at the control. Turn the power off and chk with multi meter should be closed. You can also use a jumper wire across each post and turn power back on and see if you have lights. If so replace bimetal. # 6 under control parts.

Thank you for your help. I ran a wire and now the lights are working. Do I need to dertermine why the fuse failed? I have ordered a new one but I just want to make sure the same problem does not cause this one to fail also. Thank you again for your help.

The fuse is a safety device, you coud of had a surge of power, its really hard to know, if it keeps happening after replacement you may want to chk power supply. I have never had problems after replacing it.
