I have changed the display microcomputer but cannot find a slot/place for the second microcomputer. If you look at the control panel parts lists I replaced part 2 where does part 10 & 11 go???????????????

Leo,
This slot should be marked "P9" on the power board.

I don't have a P9 to plug into. the main board is about 12" long x 3 - 3 1/2 in. wide this mounts to the underside of the display it has 3 belled cables that have slot to fit into. the other microcompr is about 4 in. wide and about 10 in long it has a slot for 1 belled cable. My question where is this located? according to the info i get from web pages they look like they stack together, can't see how this works.

How it was when you took the control panel apart? Looks like the old and the new parts are identical. So how it was connected?

The "F2-E1" error code means "invalid Cancel key". Try to clean the surface. Replace the console if it would not help. This problem has nothing to do with microcomputers. Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid range Model KGST307HBL6Gene.
