Our dryer was drying just fine then quit mid cycle for no reason. When I checked it was in the middle or so of its cycle and would not re-start. I have checked the door switch. power coming in, power at the timer, though I do not know if power is in the proper place on the timer at the proper time, starting button, heating element. All this checks ok.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Remove the rear panel on the dryer and locate the heater box, you will see the thermostat at the wire connections. Remove one set of wires at a time and test the thermostat for continuity. Nat

I do believe that you need a #36 thermal limit, This is accessable from the TOP of the dryer, lift the top and look on the heater, It will be on the right side near the top of the heater can. You can test it by connecting the 2 wires together and taping them up. This is ONLY for testing, If it runs, order the part and replace it ASAP, Also, check the VENT HOSE!!!:)
