The door release is not working when I push the 'door open button' on the bottom of the control panel. How do I remove the control panel? Is there screws? Do I pry off the panel? If so, from what direction?
The 'hooks' on the door seem fine, it's the lever that pushes thehe 'hooks' up.
I assume the control panel has to be removed to get to the macanical parts that release the door.

if anyone knows how to fix that door opener, the button that pushes in to unlatch the door is not working and I have to push way to hard and pull door from top to open

I just bought a new one and have the same problem. Did you find a solution or is it just a bad design.
