Dryer will run forever. Timer doesnt seem to be stoping dryer. Turing it in either direction yields rapid clicking sounds. Only 2 ways to stop dryer are 1 open door. 2 turn timer manually past the end of a cycle. Thoughts?

From yopur post it sounds like the timer is not advancing.
Is this correct?

Does it do this in both timed dry and auto modes?

Yes. you're correct. A new timer is on the way $90!!!??? :confused:
