Quit making ice. I am thinking it is the relay that open the valve but I am not sure where it is? No water is going to the maker. Thanks

it's in the back where the water line hooks up what happens is the valve doen't close shut all the way after a fill and water dribbles down the fill tube and freezes and keeps building up until its frozen also a reverse osmosis system plumbed into water supply will cause the same issue cause of low pressure

ya they will sometimes just freeze out of the blue for no apparent reason, If its a dual valve one is for wter disp. other for icemaker it comes as an assembly or hard water deposits build up in tube making water droplets stick to it

usuallywhat I do when I go to someones home to repair an icemaker and find the tube is frozen I will thaw it out and have them watch it, if it happens again and I get a callback in a week or month or so I will go ahead and replace the valve and check the fill tube for hard water deposits andf replace that too if it needs it
