I found this forum really helpful. So wen I hit a problem I thought I would check with this community as it has been most likely been solved before,

Yes the infamous -F3- problem is back.

My question is:
I noticed when looking for replacement keypad's "Key Panel" (item # 10" in GE database for this model), there are three distinct part numbers listed.

PS753840/41/42

In an earlier post I had seen a expert provide a PDF guidance on how to replace the key pad. There, there was a mention of two variants of the Keypad part. However, that was for a different microwave or a different model.

My question is does anyone have any idea how to determine the right part number, before I spend $80 on ordering the wrong one. I am hoping there is a number on the original when I pull it apart(fingers crossed)

Any help would be appreciated.

In most cases, consecutive part numbers designate a color :

(example ) ps753840 may be white and the 41 may be a black, etc.

Supply us with a complete model number and we'll be happy to advise you of the part needed.

Apparently we're using different parts screens ?

The part number needed per the GE parts diagram and the model number you supplied,

You need MPN no. WB07X10629

AppliancePartsPros part no.

Part number: AP3418746
Part number: AP3418746

Aah! I see why the part numbers are different, you are referring to the entire assembly. I was referring to only the membrane key panel
retails aroun $70 while the assembly is closer to $150

Do you have a separate kepad or keypanel membrane available in ApplianceParts?
I am talking about item #10 in the attached parts diagram.

Thanks for all the help

Sorry, But we don't have a part number for the touchpad panel as an individual part number, in any of our parts resource screens,

I have a feeling, if you order the pad assembly alone, it may substitute over to the complete assembly, (the part I listed) ?

Good Luck
