Start Button, which is a bit wiggly, will not start dryer. I replaced thermal fuse, still lights come on, including light for lint filter. I pulled out and cleaned lint filter, still not starting.

Hello,

We would need the complete model number to help you repair your unit. If you have a volt meter we can walk you through your repair.

These units have several very common issues, with a volt meter we could narrow it down relatively quickly.:)

I do have a volt meter. I have an Admiral ADE7005AYW dryer. I got it for free only to find out it does not run. Can I by pass the missinf door switch to test it?

I think that may be the number of the matching washer. Purchase together.

You may want to start th troubleshooting by testing for continuity the thermal fuse (#6 on the diagram).

Hiya,

If you have a volt meter and can read it lets get started, what voltage do we have at the terminal block? Measure from the middle to right, you get____?
measure from middle to left, you get___?

If the unit wont start we are loosing power somewhere, lets start at the beginning, keep it simple.
Attached is a video that explains how to test the dryer cords terminal block.

I'Ll wait for you're reply.
