Is this washer a top loader, or front loader, model # shows a top loader.

its the top loader kenmore laundry center, and the drier is on top of it,

You probably have a disconnected stabilizer spring in the back that wore through the frame, will need to drill a new hole.

i opened it again, check the spring, its attached well. i left the front panel off and watched through the whole cycle. when it started spinning and doing the banging noise, i sprayed wd40 in the center metal piece that spin under the drum, and the noise is gone now....:) thoughts ?

I am not familiar with this suspension, only think you had a stuck brake shoe, but I can't see any on the suspension view.
