washer will fill and wash clothes but only in warm cold setting will not fill in the cold water setting after water has drained from the wash cycle then there is nothing water will not fill enter the tub and i am not able to rinse the clothes any idea what is wrong?

Turn your main water shutoffs off and remove the hoses. Look inside the valve for any debris, clean carefully with a q-tip or old toothbrush if anything in there. If you don't see anything replace the valve the cold side is probably out.

Yes, but some times one side goes out or the cold side gets plugged with particles from the water supply lines.

You opened two threads (one here and another one here http://forum.appliancepartspros...-start-up.html#post35717) claiming two different problems with your washer. We would like to know what the real problem is. Does it fill up with water and then doesn't go further or it does wash and just stops at the rinse cycle? Very confusing.

sorry for this but 2 different problems with 2 different washers.
