I have a frigidaire portable dishwasher that won't drain once it runs a cycle with really hot water. If I let it cool down, I can start a new cycle, which will kick on the pump and drain it out. If I do the same but don't let it cool enough, pump only comes on briefly then cuts out again. any thoughts?

The model number you posted does not come up. Is it American model?

a canadian model. a portable, 24" wide, says only "frigidaire quiet plus" on the door.

Possible the problem is a bad drain pump, if there is a separate pump. Unfortunately there is no on-line information for non American models.
