I have a Whirlpool gold oven which is less than 2 years old. The touch pad went crazy on us and I was told to replace the control panel. I replaced it and nothing changed. I was then told to replace the touch pad. I replaced it and everything works but the bake button and the cook time buttons. I've called Whirlpool which did not help. Can anyone help me? I've put $300 dollars into a $980 stove. It's the last whirlpool anything I'll buy. Eric

Check your connections making sure they are firmly attached and no corrosion on them. If there is any corosion use a pencil eraser to clean them making sure not to bend them. Nat

Which connections? On the control panel hookup? Is there anywhere else I should be checking? Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, yes check the control panel connections. That's the main part I will try to look at your breakdown again and see if I can find anything else. Nat
