The fresh food door no longer closes on its own.

It started when I saw some broken plastic lying on the floor next to the pin, and could see some cam-like object was breaking up around the lower hinge pin.

I ordered the replacement (Order Number: 1675005). It appears to be the correct part according to the diagram for the fridge, but I've installed it and it doesn't close.

Looking at the my Freezer door, the cam setup I see there is different than what is pictured on the website: (Fresh food door replacement parts for General Electric TPH21PBSMBB Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com)

There are 2 plastic pieces on mine, not one like in the diagram. Several other details on the hinge diagram are incorrect for my setup.

What I need are 2 plastic pieces that fit around the hinge pin. They rotate against one another and their camber swings the door shut.

My question is: the fridge # seems correct, but the diagram seems wrong. How can I order the correct parts?

Thanks for helping me on this.

This may be what you need. Looks like it includes both cams.

It is Item 451 in Section 4 of the parts breakdown.

Denman - YES! This is the part (with the other plastic piece already attached to the angled bracket).

What a relief. I've just now ordered it.

Great help - I wasn't sure what was going to be the outcome for this.

Happy Valentine's Day for everyone (I'm feeling good!).

The part arrived (astoundingly quick delivery!) and is now installed. Everything works fine!

Thanks again.
