Sorry for the mistake on the model # correct model # is Mav7580EWW ,Made by Maytag. Thanks washer not draining the water, was working fine, till a few days ago when starting acting up, when timer comes to spin, it only makes a noice like timer is ticking , but it wont spin or drain ,(before when it did not spin ,if I play with the knob ,like pushing it in and pull it off a few times it would work, but now nothing at all ) timer moves and goes to off position but without spining or draining the water , any idea on what the problem might be? thanks.

Check to see if the pulley will turn freely in each direction, and if the motor is turning when it is supposed to be in spin. If not, check to see that it is getting current, and if not the timer may be the problem.
