Hello my oven is not working properly. It will not go pass 180 in temp. I can set it on 350 to cook and it will take all day to get there and most of the time not make it what can be wrong with it? I need help. My sister tried cooking Sunday's dinner and we put the oven on at 11:00 and around 2:00 it was only on 185 I really need help.

I would turn it to BAKE, Wait a few seconds and CAREFULLY check the Bottom element in the oven,Is it HOT??? if not, either the element is bad, the thermostat is bad, or you have wiring problems. I'll bet the element has failed!!!!:)

Check your gas burner and check the ignitor see if it glows. I'd bet on the ignitor! Part number AP3455359.
