I have replaced my control with part # WB27X10215. The original part # was WB27X5562 which is no longer available. The sensor and door latch plugs are not exactly alike. the original plug is numbered 12312. 123 is the door latch an 12 is the temp sensor. the new plug is numbered 12345. Does the temp sensor attach to 4 and 5? I'm getting an F4 error code now but the sensor reads 15 ohms at room temp and is not grounded to the frame.

Thanks

Watelec,

First off,

Based on my information, the resistance on your sensor is High, you should be reading 10.5 to 11 ohms at room temperature.

At 15 ohms, the sensor is telling the control, it's approximately 300 dgrs in the oven.

As for wiring your replacement clock,

It's going to be "tricky", of course it shouldn't be done, but I understand.

It would be interesting to assist you, but I don't have access to the needed diagrams, etc.

Hopefully, someone on the Repair Forum will have the information needed and can assist.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
