I inherited a fairly new Whirlpool dehumidifier and the sticker with all the model numbers has been removed. I do not know what size pint this dehumidifier is. Is there any way by looking at the unit to tell? Are there any differences between the different models? I know it's one of these models but I do not know which one. Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it.

Whirlpool Gold AD35USS
Whilrpool Gold AD50USS
Whirlpool Gold AD70USS

Thanks, Ken

Usually if the model number tag has been removed it is a scrapped unit.

Hi Nat,

Thanks for the quick response. WOW! Scrapped unit. What does that exactly mean? It seems to be working okay..it's pulling humidity out of the air. Thanks for your help! Ken

A scrapped unit is one that Whirlpool replaced for the customer, they are supposed to be decommissioned and disposed of. Although many times they are repairable, but they are not to be sold, in any case.
My suggestion would be to just use the thing until it stops working, as for the size it is measured by the number of pints the tank holds.
