I took the back panel off and could see that the heating element was on but the drum does not spin. I replaced the motor and it still does not spin. Any suggestions on what to look at next? Thanks.

Test the motor to see if it is good, you can ohm it out or you can use the belt and manually spin the shaft and listen for the clicking, if it doesn't spin freely or no clicking then the motor isn't any good. PS Check to see if you have 220V to the dryer, The heater will not come on unless the motor is running, Double check the heater for a short to ground
