Our dryer heats, but only keeps running on the regular setting. anything below this setting it turns off and says DRYER DOOR OPEN.. replaced the door switch.. still happening.. HELP.. have company and lots of laundry.. :confused: Julie

What was the exact error code? "DRYER DOOR OPEN" is not a valid error code.

It starts to run then stops and all it says in red is DRYER DOOR OPEN... No error codes unless AU is one... will not stay running in any cycle... but there is heat... could it be the timer.. I appreciate all your help...

The motor does start with the door closed.. but it only runs a minute or so and then stops and the door open lights up...


Perform the tests as described in the attached file and post the results.

You have to perform all the voltage and continuity tests form the flowchart.
