I am trying to replace my lid switch but unfortunately cannot figure out how to remove the control panel on my washer. It does have end caps but I can't seem to get them off and I don't see and screws that look to be holding it down either. Any advice?

The exploded diagram of your model shows they are held on by a screw in each one that you access from the back of the machine. Take a look and see if that is the case.
