I did some more checking and the power supply to the motor controller board is causing the problem. When I unplug it, all the lights come on.

Can you gives me the part number to the motor controller boards at the bottom of the machine?

The part number for the motor controller is AP3968010. Hope that gets you going.

I bought a control electic board (8183261), replaced it and still the same.

i have the exact same problem. tech came over friday(2/13) and said it was the MCC. 150.00 for the service call and 570.00 for the part.the washer is going to be 2years old on 3/29,so whirlpool is paying for the
part. i see that the same part can be bought here for 236. a nice markup, eh

Sorry if this is too old of a thread but I ran the diagnostic program on my machine. The display started with a C:01 and ended with an F20 with the 20 flashing. Can you please tell me what this error code is? Thanks

Sorry, I guess I'm unable to enable the automatic test program. I see what the C:10 and F20 codes are which doesn't surprise me because it's sitting in my garage.
