One by one, the cycle select buttons have stopped working so that you cannot select the cycle, and the buttons do not have anny spring force on them. I now only have the "delicate/Econ" cycle left. Is the spring force provided by the AP2802870 Control panel, or is it provided in the AP2804265 buttons themselves? Which is likely the reason for the cycles not working? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Same problem with a shu6800 model, have checked for control board replacement advice. Haven't found any yet though the board is available online for $140 plus shipping.

The problem is the plastic cover of the control panel...not the electrical parts, but the plastic tabs in front of the buttons have broken off. Read page B-3 for a quick and cheap fix.

Thanks, I remember the cover was a pretty cheap part online, is there info on how to properly get inside this dishwasher to replace the cover over the control board?

You can find the troubleshooting guide in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...troubleshoot-manual.html and the complete disassembly instructions in another post: http://forum.appliancepartspros...86-bosch-dishwasher.html

- The part number for the control module front cover is AP2802872
