I have a starting issue. The dryer would start and then immediately shut off. The dryer then would not start. I replaced the start switch which showed burn marks on the inside. I put the new switch in and the dryer started right up. It then shut down and showed the same symptoms. I checked the thermal fuses ( 3 separate spots ) and they all show closed contacts using an ohm meter. There is one additional switch on the motor with 6 -8 wires attached to it. Looks like 3 hots coming from the control panel, one going to the gas ignitor, 2 going to the motor and a neutral. I don't know what to try next. Suggestions.

When I checked the fuses, I checked for continuity not resistance.
