I need to know how to replace the two inner glass inserts in my oven door. Model #GMC305PDT6. I took the door apart to clean and one of the glass inserts broke. I am not sure if it is #7 or #10 and I don't remember how to put the glass retaining brackets back in.

If you are not sure which glass is broken, you probably have to order both of them.

The oven door has to be removed from the oven prior to repair.

The instructions are attached to the reply.

Hello, #1,4,3,5 and 19 all are still attached together. I did not take them out of the door. If I put glass #7 into part #5 = then secure it in place with part #20(glass retainer) it lays flat. Now, I put in #l0 glass into #l9
heat shield, it doesn't lay flat,,, it is on an angle. then I have another
#20 glass retainer to secure to the #10 glass. Is this the correct order to put all these pieces back into the door? and the #20 glass retainers - do they get screwed together in the same direction because I only have 2 screws to put them back in. I can't quite see from the diagram if this is right. Thank you for your help.....

Hello, I am not sure if you got my last message. I need to know how to put the glass back in. One glass lays flat, the second glass in on an angle. Is this right. It can't lay flat if I have to put into the silver heat shield. and I have two glass retainers and I am not sure how to put them back in. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

No glasses should be on an angle.

Besides the diagram I attached the file with the complete instructions. Did you open this file?
