I have a whirlpool dishwasher model GU1200XTLS3 .When I try to wash a load it runs a few minutes then stops and the HI-TEMP SCOUR light is blinking.I try to cancel and then that light starts blinking also.I unplugged the unit for a day and tried to run the diagnostic test but when I try to push the buttons the HI-TEMP SCOUR light starts blinking. Is this a bad control panel or is it the push button panel?

If you look at your tech sheet located under bottom panel it gives directions on checking the keypad operation. If you can't find it let us know. Post what you find here. Nat

I tried pressing the buttons on the tech sheet. The high-temp scour light continues to blink and nothing else happens.

I know this reply is coming to you late... but I just had the same problem and found the fix... press your "Normal" button then your "Heated Dry" button alternatively several times (quickly). This will reset the control panel and allow you to resume normal functioning.
