Can you post exactly what it was doing before the new timer and your model number? Nat

The model # DLB1550RALAD. The dryer was working fine and then the time just stopped moving. I replaced the timer, it worked one time and the next time it just stayed where you put it. Is there something that would burn out timers?

Did the dryer stop heating & turning or just the timer?

How much voltage is getting to the timer? Have you tried other settings?

about 123 volts on a digital meter. I have tried all the settings but the timer motor just doesn't seem to be running. It just stays where you turn it. I have talked the local supply house into giving me another one but I am afraid that something will happen to it. I have studied the wiring diagram but just can't explain what could cause it. Maybe I just got a bad one?

Did you check the resistor & board assembly(#148 on the diagram) or the SUPPORT CIRC BOARD (#42)? Nat
