I just moved my washer less than one mile to a new house. When I hooked it back up the water will not turn off and it runs over the top. I have replaced the water leverl hose about 2 years ago. This is a 220v model I am using. I live in Africa and need some help

I think maybe I have figured out that it is the the water inlet valve. The water still keeps flowing even when the machine is turned off. Am I right?
