My dishwasher washes perfectly, but most of the time it keeps filling up with water after it is done working. Somedays it won't but mostly everyday. Thank you.

You may have a failing water inlet valve. It is solenoid-activated. If the valve is clogged with debris (scale, rust, etc), the solenoid may not seat tightly enough to keep water from dribbling through. If this is the case, it is a flood hazard.

Here's the part. It's located under the dishwasher, accessable behind the toe plate (tight fit). Turn off water supply before working on it. Part number: AP3783031
