Do you mean, RUST marks? First, observe carefully to see whether it is the dryer, or the washer, leaving the marks. If it is the dryer making the marks, chances are there is some wwear in the tumbler suspension (rear rollers; front glides) causing the tumbler to sag enough to get caught in the ends of it. between the seals (felt) and the bosses (formed body to guide the tumbler). These components will need careful inspection in order to spot the cause. All this may sound very complex, but it is something the average mechanically-inclined home owner can do in an afternoon.
