Hello, nice forums you have here. I have a troublesome ice maker here that will make ice, but will not dispense it. We have already replaced the solenoid, but we still get the same results. The solenoid does not turn to open the flap so the ice gets backed up. Do you guys have any tips/recommendations? Thanks in advance!

The water does work and the switch does switch between crushed/cubed. We have actually replaced the circuit board too (forgot about that until you mentioned it). Do you think it could be the plastic arm?

I realized that was a dumb question after I asked it lol...no, the solenoid doesn't activate whatsoever. I removed the hinge cover and the female end connections are secure. Reseated the connection to the circuit board and even pinched the connectors on the solenoid a little bit. No dice.

Resistance on the solenoid checks okay. Everything else you said is true. That is, the water works, dispenser light works, and the auger turns. I just ordered this: dispenser crank. I can't find a good picture of what it's supposed to look like, but I think a small piece may have broke off the arm. I'll keep you updated once the part arrives. Thanks for all your help!
