This washer has its own diagnostics which i ran and got code e52 which is bad signal from tacho generator. I performed test on pins 4 and 5 on motor and got recommended 130 ohms and it says replace speed control board, if not replace motor.
i replace the white plastic board in bottom of machine that plugs into motor .....is this the right board????? because the machine does the same thing ......which is shuts off after about 10 minutes and the start button flashes like it has reset itself.
Hate to keep buying good parts.

Boy I wish I could give you good news, but you have come up against the problem with computer controls and diagnostic systems. The problem is these machines have electronics which regularly fail and which regularly do not give good diagnostic info. It seems like your motor is ok, and the problem is not in the speed control board, so it can be the main control board, door lock mechanism or wiring between all of those components. I would start by checking the wiring. Here is a service manual, good luck, but you may just end up replacing parts until you get it fixed (that what techs do with these models) If you buy parts from this site and they do not fix things you can return them. See returns policy for requirements http://frigidaireservicetips.co...rizontalAxisWasherSM.pdf

Okay, the error that you are getting is related to a tachometer that measures the speed of the motor. If your belt is slipping sometimes, it may be that it is slowing down the speed of the motor to the point that it triggers the shutdown and the error message.
Have not had a problem with a loose belt on these, so look at the manual and see if there is a way to fix things.

Good idea, the pulley is not adjustable so the belt may be stretched.

I got the siame error code on my washer. I cleaned out the drain hose due to the washer no spinning, tried again same problem. While I had the back off I noticed that the drum would stick sometimes when turning it by hand. I can turn past the spot when it sticks but it will stick again. Any Ideas on this one? Is this probably a problem with the motor?
