The temperature in the refrigerator will freeze foods even when on the lowest setting. Temperature on lowest setting reaches 27 degrees. Fresh food control knob has 1 thru 9 on knob. Is this the thermostat and is that the problem? My model # for the Kenmore refrigerator is 363.9520810. Thanks for your help. Rik

Rik First thing you need to do is open the freezer door, and get down on your knees, and pull the food off of the bottom shelf, and look at the back wall and see if there is a frost build-up. I will look in the freezer section to inspect for frost and let you know. I do not have an ohm meter currently.
